Lemme first get this out of the way… It’s Father’s Day today, an event I don’t really have an involvement in from either side, I’d like to wish all the dads out there a happy one.
So I didn’t do a diary yesterday morning. I know I tweeted that my Friday was just too uninteresting, which was true to some extent, but it’s more that the “interesting” bits were things I choose not to blog about. So in the words of Forest Gump, that’s all I have to say about that. Saturday was certainly a lot cooler than Friday.
Started off with a fanTAStic brunch at Vovo Telo with my friend Nadine. Creamy scrable eggs and bacon, followed by flapjacks and berries, all accompanied by the most excellent coffee.
Then on to The Hage to watch the Sprinboks beat the British & Irish Lions 26-21 in the first test with some good buddies. Let me just say on this subject that I was very impressed through most of the game, until the last 20 minutes when we seemed to just sit back and expect the Lions to do the same. The game is not over until the final whistle guys!
Last night was spent just nattering away on Twitter, a nice relaxed finish to the day.
