Every day we see things on the web that are cool, I’ll blog some of the cool stuff I find/found on the web now and then.

The tool I use to make a quick note when I see a cool site is Google Bookmarks, I have the bookmarklet in my toolbar, so I just hit that and tag the bookmark with “blogthis”. Then when I have more time later I go through all the bookmarks tagged with blotgthis and write this stuff. So I guess Google Bookmarks is actually the first of my cool web stuff for this post, hey whatddaya know, we’ve started already.

Item two in today’s list is Open Windows (found a couple of days ago), for a couple of reasons. In part because the author says she likes my blog more if I post about her and in part because she happens to be a good author (check out Coffee At Little Angels).

So on to some stuff I heard about today…

A fun little thing is Top 10 Ways to Provoke a Geek Argument, an intresting list of “debate” topics.

The next one I had no idea existed, but I guess it’s logical that it would. The site Chirp City does Twitter searches for specific city names, both people who have that city named in their profile and mentions of that city in Tweets. Have a look at the results for Port Elizabeth.

An interesting article of interest to Internet users in South Africa is Minnaar Pieters‘ article on Tech Leader titled SA’s future broadband scenario.
